- The establishment of the Monitoring and Control Centre was announced in 2011, and in 2019 MCC joined the organizational structure of the Supervision of the Supreme Council for National Security by a decree of Federal Law No. (20).
Its responsibilities include:
- Management, organization and use of monitoring and control systems and devices at critical facilities and places and public and private establishments.
- Analysis of data provided by such devices to prevent crimes, detect committers and preserve public order and security.
- Assurance of the continuity of the monitoring and control systems and devices and integration and connectivity with other monitoring systems and devices.
